Exploring New Inca Trails { 48 images } Created 20 Apr 2010

ENG: Cusco, Peru - Members of Project Ukhupacha, made up of Spanish spelunkers and firefighters, are exploring previously unknown inca trails in Machupicchu. They use new ways to explore the Andean archaeological sites: the vertical progression techniques. The members’ technique allows them to get to places where no explorers have gone before. Besides reaching inaccessible places, Ukhupacha develops workshops to help scientists continue the exploration of the new discoveries all over the world.
